Nigerian Navy on January 5 arrested four men trying to escape to Europe.
The stowaways were arrested onboard a Europe-Bound vessel MT CHIP at Lagos Fairway Buoy by the patrol team of the Navy.
According to the Navy Spokesperson, “Nigerian Navy Ship BEECROFT patrol team apprehended 4 stowaways onboard a Europe-Bound vessel MT CHIP at Lagos Fairway Buoy on Friday 5 January 2024.”
The Suspects have been handed over to Nigeria Immigration Service.
