Accord Party governorship aspirant in the Ekiti 2018 election, Akogun Banji Ojo has said that no amount of national convention could revive the already dead Peoples Democratic Party(PDP).

Banji Ojo in a statement signed and made available to media in Ado Ekiti on Saturday through the Director General; Akogun Banji Ojo Campaign Organization, Chief Ade Ayeni stated that Nigerians have already lost confidence in the wildly adjudged most corrupt political party in Africa, PDP.

Banji Ojo declared that the sixteen (16) year maladministration of the Peoples Democratic Party has led Nigeria and Nigerians to the present economic woes been faced by the citizens today.

He said, “Nigeria as at today is in a serious economic mess as a result of the 16 years maladministration of the PDP and the directionless and uncertificated Buhari-led APC government. Nigerians would be doing the country no good, if both the APC and PDP government at all levels are not sent packing in all subsequent elections.”

“Even if the PDP goes to heaven to conduct it’s convention, it can never produce any fruitful result. If the foundation is spoilt, what can the righteous do?.””We must all give a geniue change a chance as it is obvious that the present crops of APC and PDP have woefully failed Nigerians beyond imagination. The mass migration and dehumanization of Nigerian youths in Libya is the resultant effect of the poor management of Nigerian economy and resources by the APC-led Federal Government.”

The governorship hopeful admonished the Nigerian youths to step forward and take charge in the positions of leadership in the country. He however appealed to Ekiti State electorates to support him and his party(Accord Party) to enable him emerge the state governor in the forthcoming July 14 gubernatorial election in the state.
