The Vice President National Association of Nigerian Travel Agencies, NANTA Western Zone , Otunba Babatunde Adesokan has commended Chief Daisi Olotu for his magnanimity and spirit of sportsmanship displayed after the Association’s National election despite the unfavorable result.
Olotu, the Chief Executive Officer of Dees Travels who lost the presidential election to Mr Yinka Folami was nominated and appointed as a member Board of Trustees from Lagos zone after the resignation of Mr Dayo Adeola Ceo Touch Down Travels who also doubles as the Trustees Chairman.”
Adesokan while speaking on the development said though, the election has come and gone but NANTA remain one big family and the intent to take NANTA to a greater height should be the focus of all the stakeholders.
The election was keenly contested and Mr Yinka Folami won , Mr Daisi Olotu’s loss was painful but his courage to accept the offer and work with the new administration speaks volume of his commitment to the association.
“Rather than staying in the opposition and be creating problems for the administration, Olotu sacrifice his personal interest for the advancement of our great association, honestly this is commendable and worthy of emulation.
“His acceptance for the position has gone a long way to prove to the Nanta family that he is ready to serve and not to claim titles.” Otunba Babatunde Adesokan therefore urge Members of the association to emulate Mr. Daisi’s large heart and humility in all their doings to foster peace at all time.”
He also encouraged Mr. Daisi to continue showcasing the leadership qualities in him as always because many young members are looking up to his mentorship.
While congratulating the winners, Adesokan said they should operate with open arms, transparent and let the progress of the association and its members be their main focus and i wish them a successful tenure
