Comrade Umar Barambu, a student of Economics and Development Studies Federal University Dutse, Jigawa State has been elected as the president of Nation Association of nIgerian Students NANs

Other executives elected at the Nation convention includes Attah Nnalue Felix
Senate President,Usman Baba Kankia,Secretary General,Victor W C Ezenagu, VP National E Akinteye Babatunde VP External, Suleiman Muhammad Sarki,VP Special Duties,
Giwa Yisa Topnotch
National PRO, and Chinyelu Chinelo Okolie National Treasurer

Dambaru got 292 votes to defeat his closest rival, Umar Farouk Lawan who scored only 8 votes.

The election was held at the old parade ground, Abuja.
