My Son is not in APC- Alao Akala

Action Democratic Party ADP, gubernatorial candidate in Oyo state Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala has said his Son Olamijuwonlo Alao Akala is not member of the ruling All Progressives Congress

Olamiju Alao Akala is the Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government, he was elected under the platform of the APC after serving few months as caretaker chairman in the same local government while Chief Akala a former governor of the state joined APC in 2016 and left in 2018.

Responding to questions from the audience at the BBC Yoruba service gubernatorial debate in Ibadan today ,the Ogbomoso born politician declared that that his son was elected as the as the chairman of Ogbomoso North doesn’t make him a member of the party.

He said that “My son is an adult, he is hold enough to be one his own, he uses APC to contest election, he was voted in by people , that is how his father also started from the local government”

Meanwhile Olamiju has been involved in the affairs of the ruling APC in Ogbomoso North and Oyo state especially in preparation for the next election.

The former governor while speaking on why he wanted to return to the state as governor said he is the most experience and competent candidates that can restore take the state to a greater height.

He maintained that he ruled the the state with the fear of God while in office and would do same to make people happy if elected again.
