As the 2023 general elections approaches, Muslims faithful across Oyo State will on Saturday, 3rd of December, 2022 gather and hold special prayer for the presidential candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The prayer is scheduled to hold by 10am at Ilaji Hotel and Sport Resort, Oloyo Village, Akanran, in Ona-Ara local government, Ibadan.
A statement by the Coordinator of the prayer, Dr Sheik Hamad Alfulanny said Tinubu will be endorsed at the event as their preferred presidential candidate in 2023 general election.
He noted that Tinubu’s pedigree and anticedent stands him out of other contestants veying for the presidential seat which makes him to gained wide acceptability.
He said all challenges facing the nation would be addressed if Tinubu is elected, adding that every Nigerians would enjoyed dividends of democracy when Tinubu become Nigerias President.
Expected to be at the events are Chief Imams and Sheiks from Ibadan and other geo Political zone in the state, representatives of various Islamic organizations and numbers of Asalatu Groups.
He however urged people in the state to come out en mass to showed support for Tinubu who’s according to him is their kinsmen, adding that maximum security is guaranteed at the event.
