Notable Peoples Democratic Party stalwart in Oyo state including a serving Federal lawmaker Hon.Muraina Ajibola, Ex Aides to Gov Makinde, Hon Yemi Aderibigbe, ADC gubernatorial Aspirants Hon Remo Oseni and others today declared for the All Progressives Congress APC.
The decampees who led their teeming supporters at the part Secretariat were received by the state chairman, Hon Ajiboye Omodewu, Senator, Senator Teslim Folarin, Hon Mojeed Olaoya, Mr Iyiola and others.
Hon Dr Ajibola Muraina ,the federal lawmaker representing Ibarapa Central/ Ibarapa North Federal Constituency in the 9th House of Representatives in his remark said that he chose this path for the opportunity to work with others to ensure that every part of Oyo State experience even and equitable development.
Ajibola who commenced his address by praying for the teeming party supporters also prayed that in the forthcoming elections, the APC will take over the government of Oyo State from the local government level, all the way to the governorship, and retain the presidency.
To the teeming party supporters, “We didn’t come to fight, we didn’t come to tell lies and plot against one another. We have come together to ensure that development gets to every nook and crannies of Oyo State. Let us work together and give our best effort to take Oyo State to a higher place,” he appealed.
Teslim Folarin, three-term lawmaker representing Oyo Central Senatorial, in his remark sounded a note of warning to Mukaila Lamidi, Chairman of the Park Management System Disciplinary Committee in the state to desist from attacking members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, or face the consequences.
Folarin who mocked Seyi Makinde, Governor of Oyo State, for lacking leadership abilities, said he and others wouldn’t fold their hands and allow Auxiliary and others to turn the state into a place when insecurities reign supreme.
“Whatever they call his name – Auxiliary or what? He should be prepared for the consequences if he doesn’t stop attacking members of the APC. We will not fold our alms while they continue to unleash terror on our members and people. He should be warned.
”Everything our administration did, Makinde has drawn us backward. We are coming to correct that.
“When I said we set a trap for them. They thought I was talking about courts alone. No, it isn’t. They have been trapped. Was I the one who told him to be fighting his only Senator, Kola Balogun and three-term reps member, Muraina Ajibola? Many of his people are joining us. We decided to bring these people here today to show that their defection isn’t audio.
