Staffs of Oyo state Assembly have described the death of their Principal, Hon Micheal Adeyemo as a sad and devastating event .
Hon Adeyemo is the chairman South West Conference of Speaker.
When National Insight visited the House of Assembly Complex the major entrance was closed while flags were lowered to sybmolise the mourning mood.
Members of staff were seen in groups lamenting and discussing the demise of Mr Speaker, some were also wailing.
Some of the staff who spoke with our reporter said ” he was here on Wednesday we spoke with him and he promised us new lease of life as Assembly staff.”
Members of the assembly were at the anatomy department of the University of Ibadan for postmotem result.
An inside source told our reporter that the lanlate born lawmaker drove himself to his house at Oluyole last night after a meeting and later returned General Hospital Jericho Ibadan.
It was also gathered that the speaker called his son Kunle after he woke up before he was taken to hospital.
“He was brought in dead to Jericho hospital this morning” a hospital staff. confirmed.”
