
A prominent figure in Ibadanland, Mogaji Dr. Nurudeen Akinade as been honored with the “2025 Best Researcher Award” by the School of Post Graduate Studies, Federal University of Technology, Akure.
The prestigious award recognizes Dr. Akinade’s outstanding research work in the School of Physical Sciences, specifically in the Ph.D. student category.
Dr. Akinade, who is also the Coordinator of Ibadan Compound Peace Initiative (ICPI), expressed his gratitude for the award.
He thanked the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba. Dr. Senator Adewolu Ladoja, Okanlomo Oodua, Engr. Chief Dotun Sanusi, the President-General of the Central Council of Ibadan Indegens (CCII), Mogajis, Baales, Sons and Daughters of Ibadanland and other notable figures for their support and encouragement.
He stated that the award will motivate him to continue contributing to the development of Ibadanland, Yorubaland, and Nigeria as a whole.
The award is a testament to Dr. Akinade’s dedication to academic excellence and community service.
