Mentally Ill Lady Killed her Father in Ibadan

A middle aged lady with mental ilness on wednessday even battered her father to death in Ibadan, Oyo state capital.

The victim, a retiree who resides at Oorelope area in Oluyole estate in Ibadan was said to have been attacked by her daughter who eventually killed her

Some of the residents of the area told our reporter that the deceased wife went for vigil and returned to meet her husband battered body at the entrance of the house in the pool of his blood.

“Immediately we were alerted in the community we reported to the police but when they arrived the lady that killed her father was already sleeping while her sister who was also mentally challenged sat at the sitting room.

A member of the community who did not want his name in print said ” the two ladies have been on drugs to control their illness but we were told they’ve not taken the drugs for two weeks now, may be because they don’t have money to buy it .’ He said
