Political opponents of Hon Saheed Akinade Fijabi especially members of Unity Forum, break away faction of All Progressives Congress APC are mocking him over governor Abiola Ajimobi’s consideration to replace him with another aspirant.
Hon Saheed Akinade Fijabi, APC represents Ibadan North West and South West Federal constituency at the House of Representatives in Abuja.
The young lawmaker who is the Chairman House of Reps committee on Telecoms and member of other committees stand the chance of becoming a principal officer of the House if allowed for another term.
The son of a popular socialite and electronic merchant in Ibadan is one of the chief supporters of Senator Abiola Ajimobi, he sees Ajimobi as a leader and a father who deserves his loyalty and support at all time.
An inside source told our reporter the one of the famous aspirant from that constituency is already lobbying to get to the governor through her Excellency Chief Mrs Florence Ajimobi who also takes Fijabi as a worthy son .

It would also be recalled that Hon Fijabi stood in defence of Senator Abiola Ajimobi against Barrister Adebayo Shittu, Minister for Communications who was tackling Abiola Ajimobi over the party structure
His detractors castigated him for supporting Ajimobi to have his way during the congress only to deny him of his full suppport in his bid to secure ticket for 3rd term as a reward for loyalty.
Hon Fijabi had rely on the governor’s directive for his next political move because and he is not hiding his love and respect for the number one man in the state.
A souce at the political desk of the governor said the leaders of his constituency determines who becomes the candidate and not the governor , though it is the governor’s constituency but some of the leaders have to be involved they will assess Fijabi base on his performance and relationship with the party.
One of Fijabi’s aide who spoke under anonymity confided in our reporter that the governor is not considering his ticket for anybody because of Fijabi’s performance and loyalty to the governor and APC in the state.
