Engr Mrs Olufunke Makinde, wife of Oyo state governor today empowered over 500 people in Ogbomoso

 

Items distributed at the multimillion naira economic empowerment programm includes, Sewing machine, Grinding machine,hair driers, industrial Gas Burner and cylinder among others

The beneficiaries were drawn from five local government in the zone

The event which was held at Masifa DC Primary school Ogbomoso has in attendance council chairmen from the, political leaders and other stakeholders from the zones

Mrs Makinde said the programme is to further empower and encourage the women in politics and support them economically

She however urged the beneficiaries to make use of the items to empower themselves and contribute to the advancement of the society
