The Special Adviser to the Oyo State Governor on Culture and Tourism, Hon Akeem Ademola Ige has joined the league of numerous Nigerians to felicitate the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi the III on the occasion of his 83rd Birthday anniversary.
Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige who is the Baameto Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, in a statement personally signed and made available to journalists, described the Alaafin as the most outstanding Yoruba traditional ruler who has distinguished himself on the throne through tremendous prosperity that his reign has brought to his subjects and the entire Yoruba race as a whole.
He further described the first class monarch as a listening father and great leader whose wise counsel has benefitted a lot of people and has dedicated his life to the service of God and humanity.
While wishing the Alaafin many more years of remarkable progress, Ige called on other sons and daughters in Yoruba race to continue to pray for the most revered King.
