Makinde Reinstates Aides Who lost Primary Election, Appoints Bayo Lawal as Campaign DG

Governor Seyi Makinde has announce the reappointment of commissioner for local government and chieftaincy title chief  Bayo Lawal as the Director General of his 2023 campaign

He also direct the secretary to the state government Mrs Bamiwo Adeosun to reappoint appointees who resigned and lost primary elections to their respective position

The governor also said he would soon announce replacement for his aides who won election at the primary as he outrightly announce Mr Wale Ajani to replace Busari Olayeni as the liason officer of the Oyo state in Abuja.

He added that he would also ensure fresh  appointment to  fix all the vacant position in the government.

In his campaign team were deputy DG which includes Dr Nureni Adeniran ( Oyo South) O O tope (Oyo Centrea )
Barr Adeniyi Farinto( Oyo North)
While Dikko will handle youth and
Madam Toyin Balogu will head the women wing .

Oyo state Governor, Engineer Oluseyi Makinde also assured party members including aspirants who lost out at party primaries that there wont be losers.

Makinde who expressed optimistic that the party will have 100 percent elective post in 2023.

The governor while addressing candidates and aspirants at a special meeting held at the government house said those who lost out at the Primaries will not lose in all

” There are a lot we can do in government, we are going too engage people in various position and we wil make sure everybody is happy

The party Chairman Dayo Ogungbenro in his remark said PDP will not go to poll with a divided house and that is why they must resolve all bickerings and crisis that may have emanated during the party primaries

Some of the party leaders who speaks at the event including Dr. Saka Balogun, Sen Hosea Agboola. Elder Wole Oyelese in their remarks lauded the gov for his genuine interest in the party and how he handled the primary.

The also laud the aspirants and Candidates for the understanding and urged them not to allow the development to dampen their morale
