The Executive Governor of Oyo state, Engr. Seyi Makinde has on Thursday sent the names of four members of the judiciary service commission nominees to the Oyo state House of Assembly for appropriate screening for them to be an eligible members.
The Governor who sent this names in a “message from the executive” request the screening and approval of the four nominees as full time members of the commission.
The four names sent to the honourable house were Mr. Kehinde Akinwunmi Esq., Mr. Ogunrinde Yusuf Olatunji Esq., Lateef Adetunji Adedigba Esq., and Wahab Adedigba, all as members.
The governor noted that serving members of the commission are Hon. Justice Muftau Akinbola as Chairman, Hon. Justice Eni Ogun Esan as Member, The attorney general of Oyo state, Prof. Oyelowo Oyewo as Member, and Mrs. Medinat Olufunke Akanni as Secretary.
In another development, Gov. Makinde plead to the house for reconsideration of the rejected Nominee for Ogbomosho South Local government Caretaker Chairman, Mr. Oyedokun oyeniran Timothy haven submitted the required documents.
The house led by the honourable speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin resolved that the reject Ogbomosho south Nominee appear today Friday, 20th of December, 2019 with his updated documents do further consideration and probably approval.
