Makinde, CCII President Others Storm Kano As Ex-Oyo First Lady’s Son Marries Hearthrob

The Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde was among top eminent personalities that graced the marriage ceremony of son of former first lady in the state, Mrs. Mutiat Ladoja in Kano.

Other dignitaries include some Commissioners in Oyo State, wife of the deputy governor, Mrs Ajibola Lawal, political appointees, aides of governor Makinde, member of House of Representatives, Hon. Stanley Odidiomo, and Chief Bisi Ilaka.

The event, which have over 200 top personalities across the length and breath of Oyo State particularly Ibadan also have in attendance the Maye Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oloye Lekan Alabi, President of Ibadan Mogajis, Mogajis Asimiyu Ariori, the President-general of Central Council of Ibadan Indigiens (CCII), Barr. Niyi Ajewole, Coordinator, Ibadan Compound Peace Initiative, Mogaji Nurudeen Akinade, and the Onpetu of Ijeruland, Oba Sunday Oladapo.

Oba Yoruba of Kano, his Chiefs and other prominents Yoruba sons and daughters in Kano state equally added alots of spices to the event. They hosted the visitors and equally parts of the three days events.

Some well-wishers at the event said Mutiat Ladoja remained the best ex first lady Ibadanland and Oyo state has ever produced, saying her humility and diligence is second to none.

According to them, Mutiat Ladoja has gained reward for her good deed during and after her tenure as the first lady of the state, saying attendance of dignitaries at her son’s wedding in Kano was a testament to the fact that indeed, the former governors wife is a woman of many virtues.

They said Oyo State particularly Ibadanland has witnessed her tremendous contributions towards the progress and development of Ibadanland.

Well wishers however prayed for the success of the marriage, adding that contributions of the ex first lady to the peace and tranquility of Ibadanland can not be overemphasized.
