Bagijan of Ilaji-Ile in Iwajowa local government area of Oyo State, Oba Lawal Oyeleye Oyedepo has felicitated with the Governor-Elect in Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde and his deputy, Engr. Rauf Remi Olaniyan on their victory in the last governorship elections.

Oba Lawal made this statement in a press release issued and made available to journalists today.

While identifying the combination as a very perfect one, Oba Lawal described The Governor-Elect and his deputy as men of people who were not after public treasury but good living of their people.

According to the monarch, Seyi Makinde and Remi Olaniyan have become households names in every nook and cranny of Oyo State as they were both known for their philanthropic gestures.

Oba Lawal however admonished them not to derail from their good conducts and admirable character especially after the authorities of the State must have been given to them.

He enjoined the good people of Oyo State to pray fervently for Engr. Seyi Makinde led government in the State, so that the expected dividends of democracy can be realised.

In a related development, Bagijan of Ilaji Ile and youngest Monarch in Oyo State gave kudos to Senator Abiola Ajimobi’s led government of Oyo State, for his unprecedented achievements on the seat.

He confirmed that Governor Ajimobi did his best in the development of Oyo State while praying that God should make Makinde’s led government a better one for people of the State.
