Either the #FundLAUTECH initiative will cater for 2-3 months payment of salary or taken as endowment funds, all i know is that the initiative is laudable and will continue to trend day by day. Do you even know that the two states governors have been having headache concerning this initiative ? Just like they’ve been seemingly perturbed by students protest, Alumni moves and actions, parent threat of naked protest, they’ve not been finding easy to save themselves from public shame amongst others.

Take for instance, students marked Aregbesola birthday with a protest in Osogbo and also exposed the weakness of Governor Ajimobi through media during the January 9 protest. A scenario which has become history and will never be erased from the people’s memory except Osun and Oyo states lives no more.

In the same vein, Aregbesola’s beautiful lie for the first time became known by the deaf and blind when he openly said during a program, tagged, @Ogbeni-till daybreak” that LAUTECH school fees and Uniosun own is 5000 difference from each other. A lie that is capable to wake up a long dead man from grave if not probably cautioned at the long run. Same goes to his counterpart in person of Ajimobi who keep fooling us that the technical university is a government-private institution but indirectly belong to him. This is because he will be the highest share holder of the asset. Or how do you explain a situation where by 10% and 30% of its shares goes to the government and one igbo man pocket respectively without knowing who owns the remaining % ? This is not only deceitful but sinful and at the detriment of an already working institution ( LAUTECH )

The #FundLAUTECH initiative is gradually moving. I hope you will take your time to confirm that by just a click on www.fundlautech.com. The series of tweets by the students and all concerned body has really helped by attracting a lot of philanthropist, organizations, to make their own donations too, and with consistency, it shall hit the target of 1billion within 90 days. Amen.

Nonetheless, students are not only to make their own voluntary donation but to also make use of the media to promote the #FundLAUTECH initiative amongst others. The more we take the task as duty or a 5 unit course, the more we approach resumption. How ? Because the rate at which the initiative get support, the more embarrassed the governments are. In Fact, it is even enough as a political score for the opposition members of APC if only they know how to play their games.

One thing APC in both oyo and osun states fails to understand is that; you don’t toy with education no matter what because it is the only thing the youth or middle class get from government. Education is our only national cake and nothing else. Our voting strength can not be underestimated when it comes to election. So, the APC party must be very aware of this. And if they begin to see this as empty threat, i will remind them that Senator Ladoja lost to Governor Ajimobi with just over 30, 000 votes. A number that is similar to LAUTECH undergraduates population let alone the post graduates, masters, phd to mention few. This simply implies that our votes is enough to decide who win considering the support of our parents, relatives, friends, concerned people across different areas who feel for us and know what it takes to remain in same level since 2015.

While i put an end to this piece, it is important to let you know that the two state governments are already looking forward to end the ongoing crises. The information we gathered yesterday reveals that they are already feeling the hit and day by day, they become more frustrated due to the embarrassment from different angle. As such, it is good to continue embarrassing them through any medium until the needful is done. Let us continue making the #FundLautech initiative more trending on twitter, facebook, blog, Instagram, and amongst others to give them the greatest shock of their lives.

Oh, that LAUTECH shall rise again !
