An Ibadan born rich business magnate, Dr Lalekan Ayokunnu Are, OON is dead
The foremost agronomist and chairman of Kakanfo in dies on Saturday at 86 during a brief illness at the University College Hospital UCH, Ibadan
Mr Toye Akinrinola, the Public Relations Officer of University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan who confirmed Are’s death said he gave up the ghost around 12:30pm
Born on Dec. 2, 1933, Are was a former General Manager of Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority. The deceased was the Managing Director/ Chairman of Kakanfo Inn, Managing Director, Lekan Are Farms Limited and Director of Punch Nigeria Limited.
Aare was also President GCIOBA 1989-2006 and Patron and Trustee Lalekan Emmanuel Are (1948, Field House),
