The Coker memorial High school Old Students’ Association, Ikirun, Osun state recently elected new Officers to pilot the affairs of the association.

In a statement by the Publicity Secretary of the association, Akin Alade said new executives were nominated as interim management of 89 old students set of the school.

Akin Alade in the statement explained since inception, there is no formidable old students association.

He further explained that the 89 set is using the medium to call on other old students to come together on forming a formidable old students group.

He noted that the formation a strong old student association will bring about development to their Alma mata.

He added, “It’s important for us to know that our commitment is critical in moving our school forward. Without Coker Memorial High School, all of us wouldn’t have been where and whom we are today, hence, it is important for us to give back to the school that moulded us”.

Akin Alade however enjoined members of the 89 set to contribute their quota by ensuring that there is a massive development in their Alma Mata.

The newly elected Officers are

1. President – Bldr. Olanrewaju, Sharafadeen Babatunde Owolabi.
2. Vice president – Mrs. Gbemisola Oyedeji-Olaniyi.
3. Secretary General – Mr. Oroge Solomon.
4. Asst. Sec. Gen. – Mrs. Oluyemisi Baderinwa-Adejumo.
5. Treasurer – Mrs. Olajire Abolaji Rasidat.
6. Financial Treasurer – Pst. Afolabi Olajire Idris.
7. PRO – Mr. Alade Akin.
8. Welfare Officer – Mrs. Olawumi Olarinde-Adeyemo.
9. Auditor – Mr. Jinadu Azeez.
