“Members are enjoined to patronise our training school and ICT centre for effective and efficient running of their outlets at affordable cost. Our administration will ensure members’ businesses thrive while also safeguarding their welfare,” Lawal said.

The outgoing chairman, Alhaji Mutiu Bukola, lauded the cooperation of members which, according to him, engendered peace and development during his tenure. He highlighted milestones achieved under his leadership, including the clearance of inherited debts of over N50 million, renovation of the secretariat, establishment of an ICT centre, database and website, as well as processing of over 100 storage licence approvals.

Bukola urged the new executive to build on these achievements and continue to lead with courage, integrity, and passion.

National Vice President of IPMAN, Alhaji Hammed Fasola, commended the outgoing executive for steering the association through sensitive challenges, while assuring that the national body would continue to support the Ibadan Depot.

Similarly, IPMAN Zonal Chairman (West), Chief Oyewole Akanni, praised Bukola’s leadership and urged the new executive to foster collaboration and prosperity. He expressed optimism that the depot would witness full revitalisation for effective loading of petroleum products and increased business activities during Lawal’s tenure.
