First alumnus of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo State, to earn doctorate degree (honoris causa)of the Institution, Prince Tayo Adeyemi Adiatu, has promised to build and donate a 750 seaters capacity lecture theatre to the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences of LAUTECH.
Adiatu, Chief Executive Officer of Tulcan Energy Limited was a member of the 1995 set of intakes, Graduating in year 2000
He studied Pure and Applied Chemistry, and yesterday became the first product of the University to be so honored, with Doctor of Business Administration (D.BA Honoris Causa) by his Alma Mater.
Beyond the lecture theatre, he also pledged to furnish the newly completed Alumni Multipurpose Building, starting with the donation of 100KVA generator and procurement of 1000 banquet seats.
