Academic activities may not start at the just reopened Ladoke Akintola University of Technology LAUTECH Ogbomoso on Monday as earlier announced by the management.
The decision to return to class for work will be taken at a Congress of the Union on Tuesday.
It was gathered that alert of 3 month salary reading September ,October and November was recently received by by members of staffs of the institution .
Although some staff consider the trick as a ploy by the management and the government to lure them back into work .
A lecturer who spoke with our reporter said ‘ now they are paying us three months what happens to the other eleven months they are owing us ‘
When contacted for clarification, the chairperson of LAUTECH chapter of ASUU, Dr. Biodun Olaniran said , the issues will be resolved at the congress.
