Chairman governing board of the Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI) Barrister Olusegun Adekunle has descried the late Soun of Ogbomoso Oba Oladuni Oyewumi as monarch who stood for peace, unity, progress and development in his life time and particularly during his reign.
In a condolence message personally signed by the retired Permanent Secretary, Adekunle said “It is on record that Ogbomoso experienced tremendous development in all sectors particularly, in education, agriculture, infrastructure development and industrialization
“Similarly, sons and daughters of Ogbomoso extraction at home and in diaspora, ascended to positions of prominence at sub-national and national stages thus expanding the influence and imprint of Ogbomoso indigenes during important national discuss.
