Bakare a native of Gbogan in Osun state was abducted by gunmen suspected to be herdsmen on Saturday
Ogbomosoinsightonline reporta that he was released on Wednesday after payment of ransom.
The kidnappers had demanded for N100million naira but after negotiation they agreed to collect N5m before releasing him
The ransom was reportedly taken to a forest in Otte area, at the boundary between Oyo and Kwara states along Ogbomoso-Ilorin road
Bakar while narrating his ordeals at the kidnappers den said he was subjected to severe beatings” I was severely tortured, tied to a tree and given no food,”
