According to Founder of Kenya Safari Wedding, Mr Sanni Rotimi, breast cancer is a pandemic that has send many women and ladies to early grave because they lack information or totally ignorance of early detection and management; and our objective is to use the campaign as a one stop shop information clinic for women.

The Nairobi street campaign will educate the public on the symptoms of breast cancer, which include a lump in the breast, bloody discharge from the nipple and changes in the shape or texture of the nipple or breast.

Also breast cancer may have no symptoms, but people may experience breast discomfort, inverted nipple, lumps, or nipple discharge. Again, other symptoms may include skin redness or swollen lymph nodes.

“These and other information will be disseminated to the public to keep them alert and abreast of symptoms of cancer and how it can be detected early and procedures of preventing it before it get to different stages that may lead to complication and difficult to cure.

“Kenya has made a significant leap in tech and cancer treatment with the launch of CyberKnife technology. This system features high-tech radiotherapy with precise targeting of tumors, minimising damage to surrounding healthy tissues; in this regards, our move is to help create more awareness in the area of breast cancer.”
