The Okanlomo Oodua and Bada Olubadan of Ibadanland, Engr. Jubril Dotun Sanusi, has been honoured with three prestigious awards in the United Kingdom in recognition of his outstanding contributions to business development, humanitarian service, and tourism promotion.
The awards were conferred by GSFEN Business School and GSFEN Worldwide Ltd in acknowledgment of Sanusi’s visionary leadership, strategic innovation, and consistent commitment to social and economic progress.
At the ceremony, the Chairman of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort received an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Business Administration (DBA), as well as the GSFEN Global Humanitarian and Community Impact Award.
In addition, Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Ibadan, was presented with the GSFEN Award of Excellence for Hospitality and Sports Development, in recognition of its role in advancing Nigeria’s leisure, tourism, and sports sectors.
The triple honours underscore Chief Sanusi’s growing influence in global business circles, his dedication to community upliftment, and his sustained investments in initiatives that promote economic empowerment and sustainable development.
Observers say the recognition further showcases how indigenous enterprises from Oyo State are making significant impacts on the global stage, while contributing meaningfully to local development and social transformation.
