JS Amodu, Others Dump APC in Kishi, Says “We Are Back Home From Sabbatical”

Prominent political leaders and groups in irepo local government including Alhaji Jimoh Sijuade Amodu popularly known as JS Amodu has dumped the All Progressives Congress APC.

Amodu, a former local government chairman in Irepo local government and another group who led thousands of APC members to the Party said we are back in PDP from the Sabatical leave in All Progressives Congress.

According to him ” We are not just joining the party we are returning home from Sabbatical where we have been in the past few years and our coming is to ensure total support for the re-election of Governor Makinde and other PDP Candidates in 2023.

” Governor Makinde has done well for us in Kishi by choosing our brother as his deputy governor , it is a good developmet, we have never had such oppurtunity such before and we will give him maximum support

” We have resolved to work for the party and i want to urge the people of Kishi to support our brother by voting for all PDP Candidate in the coming election, voting PDP will pay us better than other party’

While welcoming the decampes the deputy Governor, Barrister Bayo Lawal said he is happy to receive JS Amodu and others back into the party

” We are lucky in our federal constituency, governor Makinde’s decision to pick deputy from Oke Ogun is an attestation to the fact that we are relevant and recognized and the only thing we can do to further establish this is to vote massively for PDP in the next election In irepo alone we should have over 100,000 votes ”

” Go and tell others who are still angry that they should come back home, PDP is their party, i have tried other parties before too and i know the differences, so i am appealing to them to come back to PDP.”

The deputy Governor however uses the oppurtunity to present PDP Senatorial Candidate in Oyo North, Hon Akinwale Solomon Akinwole Wolekanle, House of Reps Candidate for Irepo, Olorunsogo and Oorelope Federal constituency, Hon Hussain Ijabah and others to the people.

Another party leader Chief Jacob Adetoro said the return of JS Amodu and his team back in PDP is a devel6 that will further boost the chances of the party,” We have been friends for long i know his capacity and i can assure you his coming will add more value.”

Irepo local government chairman, Hon Sulaimon Adediran Santana in his short remark maintained that ” JS Amodu and others who joined the PDP will enjou equal benefits other party members are entitled to.
