Iseyin weavers and Marketers Association will on Thursday Honour eminent personalities including a renown actor and producer Kunle Afolayan, Chief executive officer of Ilaji Resorts Engineer Dotun Sanusi and Barrister Ahmed Raji (SAN).
Others includes Chief Daud Makanjuola Akinola, Aare Musulumi of Yoruba, Edo and Delta,Alhaji Fatai Azees, CEO Bolamark Engineering Limited), Alhaji Saratu Aduke Konbaje, Dr Wasiu Olatubosun,Chief Dokun Oke, MD Simdoke Int’l Ltd and Hon Toye Arulogun former Oyo state commissioner for information culture and tourism.
The beneficiaries will be honoured for their exemplary contributions to the advancements of the society and service to humanity.
Aso ofi day is a day set aside by the weavers association to celebrate the traditional cloth and further expose it to the international market and this year is the 5th edition

The event which is scheduled to hold at Aso Ofi International Market and Tourism centre, Iseyin Oyo state will also feature a lecture entitled ‘ A panoramic view of Aso Ofi as a panacea for economic diversification, unemployment reduction and enhanced revenue generation” and other programs.
