Iseyin-Okeho Road Not Abandoned – Senator Buhari

Chairman Senate Committe on Land Transport, Senator Abdulfatai Buhari has said the ongoing Iseyin- Okeho road will not be abandoned.

He explained that the fund released for the contractor was not enough for the completion of the road and that request has been made for more fund in the 2021 budget.

Speaking with National Insight who inquired on why the road project was delayed, The lawmaker representing Oyo North Senatorial district said , the people should be patience and be rest assured that the road will be completed soon.

Some section of the road have been tarred and the replacement of the two narrow bridge on the road are almost completed but the delay in completion of the project is creating fear that it may not be completed before the expiration of President Muhamadu Buhari’s administration.
