The 94 years old monarch also appeal to the Nigerian media to exercise caution in disseminating information in order to ensure peaceful co-existence in the country
Oba Oyewumi in a statement harps on the need for peaceful coexistence of Nigerians in the country
“I wish to call on Nigerians to strive to live in peace at all times. A lot of us have resided in different parts of the country for years making a living and interacting peacefully with the host communities.”
“As a 94 year old traditional ruler who had lived in Jos, Plateau State for over 30 years before ascending the throne of my forebears in 1973, I appreciate the need for peaceful co-existence. Our security challenges may appear daunting but they are not insurmountable.”
