Insecurity: Oyo NCSDC Holds Security Summit in Ogbomoso

As the country is preparing for 2023 general elections across the states in Nigeria,the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence corps (NSCDC) has commenced Security Summit to sensitize the citizens on modality of securing and protecting the lives and properties of this populace.

This was made known during the security summit held at Area C command at Takie area Ogbomoso.

While declaring the summit open,the Oyo state Commandant of NSCDC CC Aderalewa Micheal who was ably represented by the 21c of the command,DCC Ete Femi made it known to lives and properties are basically duty of all citizens of the country.

He stressed further that all Stakeholders in security network of the state needs to be proactive in securing their community as we can not leave the protection of our lives in the hand of Security agencies alone.

Meanwhile in the same veil, to support the Security architecture of the state a Non Governmental Organisations Safe Harbor International has students repaired an operational vehicle for the Area C command as a way of supporting NSCDC in their fight against crime and crimilities in the area.

The repaired Operational Vehicle was handed over to the Second in command during the Security summit for the use of the Area command to protect the citizen of the state.

“Let’s join hand together to unite and protect our dear country” Said the state commandant.
