The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Oyo State has announced the commencement of pasting of names of registrants for claims and objections following the just suspended Continuous Voter Registration (CVR).
This was made known in a media release today by the administrative secretary, Biodun Onikate-Amosu, who stated that the exercise has commenced today Monday 15th Of August and will end on Monday 22nd of August 2022.
The Administrative Secretary also stated that the essence of the exercise is to grant the registered voters access to their information and to scrutinize the preliminary voters’ Register with a view to making claims or raising objections against inclusion of registrants.
However, Onikate-Amosu implored all registered voters, whose information were wrongly taken during the just suspended Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) to visit INEC Local Government Area Office where they registered for necessary corrections.
