Alhaji Wasiu Ademola Alli (AWA), Oyo Central Senatorial hopeful, has congratulated Nigerians on the nation’s 65th Independence anniversary, calling for renewed patriotism and stronger commitment to nation building.

This is contained in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Ibadan.

Alli described the anniversary as a moment for sober reflection, saying it was an opportunity to rededicate efforts toward building a peaceful, prosperous and inclusive Nigeria.

“Our independence is a testament to the resilience and sacrifices of our heroes past. It is a call on all of us to safeguard their legacy with unity and commitment,” he said.

He commended President Bola Tinubu’s administration for taking bold initiatives aimed at repositioning the economy and strengthening governance.

The Senatorial hopeful urged Nigerians to continue supporting ongoing reforms for the overall good of the nation.

“The current administration is making courageous efforts to stabilise the economy and address national challenges. Nigerians must support these reforms with patience, faith, and collective responsibility,” he stated.

Alli praised Nigerians for their courage and perseverance despite economic as well as social challenges.

He said that unity, tolerance and patriotism remained essential ingredients for building a stronger and better Nigeria.

“As citizens, we must embrace love, tolerance, and patriotism, irrespective of our differences. Only then can we overcome our challenges and move forward as one indivisible nation,” he added.
