A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party in Oyo State and former Minister of State FCT, Oloye Olajumoke Akinjide has stated that she remains a loyal and committed member of the People’s Democratic Party in the State

She also said she will not for any reason shirk from her unflagging zeal geared towards building a PDP that is viable and strong in Oyo State, the South West and at the National level.

While reiterating her abiding commitment to the party in a release signed by her Special Assistant on Media, Alhaji Isiaka Kehinde and made available to the press today in Ibadan , Oloye Olajumoke Akinjide avvered that ” in view of the on-going defection of Senator Rashidi Ladoja and others from the PDP to ADC, I wish to state categorically that I remain a staunch member of the PDP. While I acknowledge Senator Ladoja ‘s inalienable and constitutional right to move to any party of his choice, and deeply regret that he could not find accommodation in our great party, PDP, I remain, a loyal and committed member of the PDP and will work assiduously towards the Party’s success in the forthcoming general elections”.
