As part of efforts to discover hidden sporting talents, drastically reduce gangsterism as well as various acts of indecencies and above all insecurities among the Youths within Ibadan metropolis, a Prestigious Annual Ibadan Compounds Sports Competition is being put together.
The Coordinator, Mogaji Nurudeen Akinade in a statement said the event would be hosted at the well-equipped Sports Facilities of Ilaji Hotels & Sports Resort.
According to him, the event enjoys the support of His Imperial Majesty, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, Aje Ogungunniso 1.
He, however, invited highly distinguished High Chiefs, Senior Chiefs, other Traditional Chiefs and Mogajis to the event, which is scheduled to hold Saturday, 29th May, 2021 at
Haji Hotels & Sports Resort (Hospitality) Ltd, Oloyo village, beside Ilaji Farms, Ona Ara Local Government, Akanran, Ibadan at 11:00am.
Mogaji Akinade briefed that presentations would be made by some prominent tradition chiefs and VIPs on Safe Guiding the Institution of Olubadan of Ibadanland by Chief Senator Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja (Osi Olubadan of Ibadanland).
Other important matters slated for discussions included: Legal Implication on Acts of Hooliganism among our Youths in Ibadanland, Eradicating Educational Decadence among our Youths in Ibadanland, Act of Hooliganism and Thugery among our Youths, The Security Implication and Youths Empowerment and Economic Development in Ibadanland.
