The Acting Inspector General of Police Adamu Mohammed has appointed Frank Mba as the Force Public Relations Officer (PRO), relieving Jimoh Moshood of his duties.
Mba, a lawyer, is an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP). He was the Force Public Relations Officer from February 2012 to August 2014, serving under former IGP Mohammed Abubakar and briefly under former IGP Suleiman Abba.
So, the new appointment is a return to a familiar turf for him.
Mba hails from Ezimo in Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State. He rose up the police ladder and was promoted to assistant superintendent of police in 1999, deputy superintendent of police in 2003, superintendent of police in 2006 and chief superintendent of police in 2012.
