The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) has announced the full restoration of its payment platforms following recent disruptions that affected electricity vending and bill payment across its service areas.

In a press statement issued on Saturday, the management of IBEDC expressed sincere apologies to customers for the inconvenience experienced over the past few days, acknowledging the frustration caused by the downtime.

According to the release, all affected payment channels—including IBEDCPay (www.ibedcpay.ng), iRecharge, bank mobile apps, USSD platforms, and authorized vendors—are now fully operational. The company added that it has extended weekend cash office hours to further ease payment for customers.

“We are pleased to inform our customers that the issue has been fully resolved. All payment platforms are now delivering seamless service, and customers can conveniently make payments and receive tokens without delay,” the statement read.
