Bashorun Akinwale Solomon Akinwole
described the explosion which rocked some part of Bodija Ibadan yesterday as unfortunate and devastating.

Bashorun Akinwole better known as Wolekanle who also owns a property in Adeyi street Bodija Ibadan commiserated with the families of those who lost their lives, properties and valuables to the incident.

Wolekanle who expresses his displeasure over the incident when he visited the scene in the morning prayed for quick recovery for the injured who are either receiving treatment in hospital or back in their home, “God will heal their wounds and restore their loss.” He said

The Peoples Democratic Party PDP Senatorial Candidate in Oyo North in 2023 election commended Governor Seyi Makinde for the swift response and concern for the wellbeing of the victims

“Governor Makinde has further demonstrated his leadership quality with the steps he has been taking since yesterday when the incident happened and i pray God will continue to strengthen him and his team.”

Wolekanle also commended the security agencies, health workers and other frontline workers for their commitment to safety of the victims and ongoing rescue operation.
