Ibadan Christ Apostolic Grammar School (ICAGS) is marking 66 years of academic excellence and societal impact.
On January 28, 1960, the school welcomed its first set of thirty students at the then Mission Headquarters of the Christ Apostolic Church in Yemetu, Ibadan.
Over the decades, ICAGS has grown into a leading institution, producing graduates who have excelled nationally and internationally. The school’s legacy of excellence continues to inspire both current students and alumni.
To commemorate this historic milestone, the 66th Founder’s Day Anniversary celebration will take place on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 12:00 PM in Ogunlana Hall, International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo State.
Dr. Morohunkola Thomas, President of the Ibadan Christ Apostolic Grammar School Old Boys Association (ICAGSOBA), congratulated all alumni and students, highlighting the enduring impact of the school.
The event will feature a documentary on ICAGS, goodwill messages, choir renditions, and a host of celebratory activities.
The 66th anniversary serves as a reminder of ICAGS’s rich history and continued commitment to shaping leaders and professionals across the globe.
