Ayobami Odunayo, dismissed female police officer who was arrested for impersonation ,stealing and forgery said she still love serving the nation as a police officer.
The female cop who was dismissed in 2012 was arrested by the police for parading herself as a serving police officer , stealing ,extorting money and soliciting undue favour from unsuspecting members of the public
She was among the suspects paraded by Oyo state police commissioner Abiodun Odude at the state police headquarter Eleyele Ibadan.
Odude said the culprit who has been parading herself as the Assistant Superintendent of Police and the DCO was actually dismissed in 2012 as a Corporal for criminal conspiracy and negligence.
The CP said further that a search into her house led to the discovery of , one police badge, ID card with sergent rank, a police warrant card with the rank of inspector, a pair of police uniform, blue and black , a pair of police shoulder badge, , a pair of black police belt, and a police cardigan .
He said the suspect who was arrested by detective attached to the Agodu Area Command through discreet investigation also stole a Vinko phone and sum of N15, OOO from another victim at Moniya Ibadan .
Odunayo ,a widow with two kids while speaking with journalists confirmed that she was dismissed in 2012 when suspect ran away from custody while on duty and that since she has been dismissed she has been selling raw food and other items
“ i am not parading myself as police officer anymore, the uniform and other items were found in my house when they search it after i fought with a woman” She said
“I still love the job”
