One of the leading Fuji star, Alhaji Taye Akande Adebisi,Currency yesterday cheated death in a ghastly motor accident along Ife-Ilesha expressway.
The incident occurred around 12.25pm yesterday Friday 25th May, 2018 when the musician was going to Ado Ekiti where he was billed to perform at the commissioning of the first fly-over bridge.
Taye had left Ibadan safely on Friday morning but as God will have it, the Toyota Hilux van Somersaulted on the highway before a tree edge was coincidence to stop the wrecked van.
Alhaji Taye Currency who was in the Toyota Hilux with his two managers and his personal assistant sustained a head injury while others sustained little or no injury.
His publicists Tope Eluyefa in a press statement said ,What is amazing about the versatile musician was that he eventually got to the venue of the event and perform excellently later in the day till the wee hour of today Saturday 26th May.
The thank you concert which had the attendance of former president, state governors and other top party chieftains of the People’s Democratic Party.
While thanking God for protection of life as we loose no life and no one is on hospital bed. He also advised commuters to always make use of the seat bet as this also save his life
Taye Currency had since returned to his country home inside Oluyole Estate in Ibadan.
It will be recalled that the the wrecked Toyota Hilux van was acquire sometimes last year.
