Eyewitness accounts suggest that the primates’ aggressive behavior towards the man caused him to flee, allowing the child to escape unharmed. The girl’s father, overwhelmed with relief, credited the monkeys with potentially saving his daughter’s life.

Law enforcement has confirmed an ongoing investigation into the incident. An FIR has been filed under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the POCSO Act. While CCTV footage reportedly shows the suspect walking with the child, his identity remains unknown, prompting a police manhunt.
