On Sunday 3rd December, Ghanaian businessman and respected philanthropist, Oscar Yao Doe (#Kingoscar) was honoured with an award in Nigeria by The House of Odua & Queen Moremi Ajasoro Foundation for his contributions to art & culture, education and for supporting & developing young people Across Africa.
At the event held inside the Oriental Hotel Lagos, there was an outpour of accolades on Oscar. Organizers of the event specifically acknowledged many of his support efforts towards humanity; one of them being that Since 2012, #Kingoscar has dedicated his salary in Cote D’ivoire to cater for the Bassam Ophanage in Abidjan.
The Ooni of Ife (Supreme Head of the House of Odua) was present at the event that had other important dignitaries in attendance.
Receiving the honour, Mr. Yao Doe, who is the C.E.O of Eurostar Global Limousine and Executive Chairman of the Doscar Group Holdings said the award is for the Ghanaian People and he dedicated the it to the legendary African Icon, Mama Nike Okundaye (the twner of Africa’s Biggest art gallery, and Otunba Tolani Oladipo, the Owner of the Picasso Hotel Group in Nigeria.
