
Majority Leader of the Oyo State House of Assembly and member representing Ogbomoso South State Constituency, Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin, has commissioned seven boreholes and other community projects across wards in his constituency, in fulfilment of his electoral promises.
The commissioning, which attracted a large turnout of party members and residents, saw projects handed over to communities in Ilogbo, Arowomole, Ibapon, and Alapata wards.

At Ilogbo Ward, a newly constructed borehole was handed over to residents of Abede area. The traditional ruler, Oba Mukaila Adisa Oyedeji, the Alabede of Abede, expressed appreciation to Hon. Adedoyin for the gesture.
In Arowomole Ward, at Arada Market, a rehabilitated public toilet and borehole were commissioned and handed over to Oba Olajide Bolarinwa, the Onisapa of Isapa Kingdom. The Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso South Local Government, Hon. Oyeniyi Oyedokun Timothy, commended the lawmaker for the initiative and urged beneficiaries to ensure proper management of the facilities. The Onisapa, while commending the projects, also appealed for the rehabilitation of the Arada Market road.
Ibapon Ward, the largest in the local government, received four boreholes at Mikky Area, Ajegunle, Sawmill Adeleke Oja Jango, and Oke Ola Farm Settlement, handed over to community leaders including Baba Peaceway, Comrade Olatunbosun Ajagbe, Mr. Olabode Laboko, and Prophet Awodeji Ade Omo Jesu, respectively. Hon. Adedoyin assured residents that he would promptly address any faults reported on the facilities and pledged to deliver more projects in the coming months. Former Council Chairman, Hon. Felix Akande, reminded beneficiaries that “water is life,” urging them to use the boreholes responsibly.
At Alapata Ward, another borehole was handed over at the Naira Motel area. Speaking at the event, Hon. Taiwo Alagbe said the initiative demonstrated that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is a promise-keeping party, while Mr. Taye Agbede received the project on behalf of the community.
Hon. Adedoyin reaffirmed his commitment to grassroots development, emphasizing that his office remains open to community needs and promising continuity in the delivery of people-oriented projects.
The events were witnessed by political leaders and dignitaries including former Vice Chairman of Ogbomoso South, Hon. Olajide Isaac Adisa; Vice Chairman of the council, Hon. Mujidat Kareem Abegbe; PDP Chairman in Ogbomoso South, Apostle Moses Olamoyegun; Hon.
