South West Group of Online Publishers (SWEGOP) has announced that its scheduled ‘Breakfast Media Chat’ with a member of the House of Representatives, Honourable Temitope Olatoye Sugar, slated for Thursday, February 2, 2017 has been shifted.
The online publishers’ programme will now hold on Tuesday, February 7 at the same venue, the group’s temporary Headquarters located within the CEO Africa Building, Jericho, Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State.
A release from the group signed by Remi Oladoye, its Public Relations Officer stated that the parley will start by 10a.m.
It also reiterated that Hon Temitope Sugar who represents Lagelu/ Akinyele Federal Constituency will use the opportunity of being hosted by the creamiest in the business of on-line publishing in the South West of Nigeria to publicize some of his activities and achievements so far as a member of the House of Representatives.
The maiden ‘Breakfast Media Chat’ had Senator Abdulfatai Buhari, the present chairman, Senate’s Committee on ICT and Cyber Crimes.
Meanwhile, as part of the commitment to improve health conditions, alleviate poverty and improve self-reliance among the poor masses in Oyo State, Honourable Sugar, is set to give free health care and surgery to 2000 people in Oyo State to mark the 2017 Valentine’s Day Celebration.
Hon. Temitope Sugar, who is also the Chairman, House Committee on Urban Development and Regional Planning at the Federal House of representative, Abuja made this disclosure recently.
According to Hon. Sugar, the 2017 Valentine Celebration Programme, organised on the platform of the Olatoye Sugar Foundation (OSF) is the 10th edition of the annual event where thousands of physically challenged and the less privileged are empowered yearly through skills acquisitions.
It was gathered that in addition to its usual empowerment scheme, this year’s programme, scheduled to hold from 4th to 14th of February will feature special programmes for the beneficiaries. Among the special features of this year’s Valentine’s Programme is free surgery for 2000 people across the state and free treatment of various illness like: fibroid, cataract, etc. by doctors from South Africa and Nigeria
Hon. Sugar explained that the hospital where the free medical care will be dispensed is the Catholic Hospital, Oluyoro, Oke-Ofa, Ibadan. He added that the free treatments will be made available from 4th to 13th of February.
Sugar advised the good people of Oyo State to take advantage of this free medical scheme which is organised by Olatoye Sugar Foundation (OSF) in the spirit of the season.
