A former member of the National Assembly Hon Segun Dokun Odebunmi has commiserated with the family of late Prince Olaide Akinremi popularly known as Jagban who died in the early hours of wednesday

Odebunmi who represented Surulere/Ogo Oluwa Federal constituency at the 7th,8th and 9th Assembly said Hon. Olaide Akinremi’s sudden demise is a profound loss not just for his family, but for the All Progressives Congress in Oyo state and the entire National Assembly.

The statement reads further;

Hon. Akinremi was a dedicated public servant who was passionate about serving his constituents and contributing to the progress of our dear nation. During his time at the National Assembly, he was a committed legislator who worked tirelessly on behalf of the people. His contributions to debates, committee work and constituency outreach were exemplary.

He was a true patriot and a man of the people, and his indelible mark on our political landscape will not be forgotten.

As we mourn this painful loss, I urge the Akinremi family to find solace in the knowledge that Hon. Akinremi lived a life of purpose and service. His legacy will continue to inspire us all to be better representatives of the people.
