The lawmaker representing Ibadan Northwest/Ibadan Southwest Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon Dhikirulahi Adedeji Stanley Olajide has extended his hearty congratulations to Wale Abass on his promotion from the rank of Commissioner of Police to Assistant Inspector General of Police by the Police Service Commission (PSC).
Hon Odidiomo who doubles as the House Committee Chairman on ICT and Cyber security lauded Abass’s professional conduct over the years while discharging his duties.
The lawmaker who was present at his decoration ceremony in Abuja on Tuesday, noted that he and Wale Abass have been friends for decades stating that his experience remains invaluable. His words:
“The news of your promotion didn’t come to me as a surprise, because hardworking, reliable, efficient, organized, proactive and effective people like you whose untiring efforts are not only recognized by men alone but even Allah, thus the result is rewards of this nature.
” I understand that you wouldn’t have achieved this great feat without hard work and perseverance and I’m quite optimistic that your integrity and strict adherence to work ethics would take you to the echelon of your noble career.
“As a friend and brother, I encourage you to remain unwavering in the discharge of the onerous tasks that accompany the new responsibility.”
