Hon Segun Dokun Odebunmi, Chairman House of Reps Committee on Information, National Orientation, Ethics and Value has commended president Muhammadu Buhari for approving the Federal Polytechnic Ayede in Ogo Oluwa local government area of Oyo state.
The polythecnic is one of the newly approved institutions by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2020.
After an intense lobby by Hon Segun Dokun Odebunmi the lawmaker representing the zone, the much awaited expectation has become a reality.
In a lettter signed by Arc. Sonny S.T. Echono, Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education, emphasised that President Buhari also approved a take-off grant of N2 Billion for the new Polytechnic from the funding resources of TETFund for the provision of core facilities for immediate take-off. This has been duly conveyed to TETFund for implementation
Odebunmi (BUNVIC), the lawmaker representing Ogo Oluwa/ Surulere Federal Constituency said this is a welcome development which according to him will foster Education and socio-economic development of the region.
Apart from Job creations, the development will enable our younger generation to pursue their academic carrier and use the knowledge acquired to transform the society.
While congratulating the People of Ogo Oluwa, Ogbomoso, and Oyo state at large , Hon Odebunmi urged the people to corporate with the Fedeal government in ensuring the stability and sucess of the institution.
He however pledges that he continue to use his influence as a ranking member in the 9th House of Representatives to facilitate more infrastructural developments for the institution and the communities and his Constituency as a whole.
