Thousands of Indigene and residents of Ondo town troop our enmass to welcome the immediate past governor of Ondo state, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko back home having successfully served the state for 8 years.

Various groups with colourful traditional attires flooded the streets of Ondo city; singing and dancing to receive Mimiko while market women and traders did closes shop solely because of the carnival.

Mimiko was accompanied by his political associate and supporters who moved in a long convoy of over 100 vehicles.

The former governor who was received by mammoth crowd at Boluwaduro proceeded to The Redeemed Church of God, Power Sanctuary, Ondo for a thanksgiving service and later to the Osemawe’s palace.
